CP will suspend the circulation of long-distance trains between 00:00 on 1 May and midnight on 3 May, under the contingency plan of the covid-19

“Within the scope of the covid-19 Contingency Plan, and following the measures to restrict circulation on 1, 2 and 3 May, CP - Comboios de Portugal will suspend the circulation of long-distance trains, between 00: 00 on 1 May and midnight on 3 May,” announces the company in a statement.

Thus, during this period, and as it happened in the Easter period, “the circulation of the Alfa Pendular and Intercidades trains is suspended, on all axes, at national level, except for some connections to Évora and Beja, ensuring mobility strictly necessary in these areas, which do not have a Regional Service”.

The offer of urban and regional trains "will be maintained in the same way as it is done today", says the railway carrier, which provides updated information on the available offer on its website.
