Nightlife entrepreneurs are today staging a demonstration in protest against the Government's delay in legislating on the reopening of venues such as bars and clubs.

Such establishments have been closed since March in the context of the covid-19 pandemic.

Around 250 people are expected to take part in the action.

The protest is due to take place at 2pm on the Lisbon Docks, followed by a walk to Parliament, for a demonstration at 3pm.

I couldn't agree more with this cause. Scores of bar owners will go out of business if they are not allowed to reopen now. Let's do this in responsible fashion before it's too late.

It’s about time we allow the good people of Portugal go back to earning a living. I feel for the small businesses that have been hit badly from this plandemic. As much as talking about lives being lost due to the Plandemic we are talking about livelihoods of thousands in complete tatters.
