The "Zero Museum" will occupy the old agricultural cooperative in Santa Catarina da Fonte do Bispo, a village in the municipality of Tavira.
The goal is for the museum to open in 2020, and it will house exhibitions based on light, image and sound, as well as artist residences.
Its interesting that we're to have the first digital museum in Europe, yet we don't have mains water or sewage, internet is so weak that its almost no existent (less than 1mbs per second), no tarmac on the roads lets not even talk about mobile phone reception.
Although a very good idea, perhaps the EU money should be put to a better use, like improve the lives of the hundreds of local residents in area with proper infrastructures.
