Fire hits Embraer plant in Évora

A fire broke out at dawn on Monday in a warehouse at the industrial complex of the Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer in Évora, causing minor injuries to two guards, local firefighters said

They added that the fire, for which the alert was given at 01:22, reached the workers’ individual protection equipment storage space but the flames were extinguished at 02:38.

According to the same source, two men from the surveillance team in their mid-30s suffered slight injuries from smoke inhalation, and one of them was taken to the emergency rooms of the Hospital do Espírito Santo de Évora as a precaution).
