Five ASAE inspectors detained on suspicion of passive corruption

The judicial police (PJ) on 3 March arrested five inspectors from the Food and Economic Security Authority (ASAE) on suspicion of the crime of passive corruption, a source linked to the case told Lusa.

The same source added that the acts of corruption are related to inspection actions.

The operation of the PJ focused on the performance of elements from the Southern delegation of ASAE.
