“We are developing four projects in the Alentejo due to the available resources, but we are also interested in expanding this project throughout the country as long as there are conditions for that,” Francisco Ribeiro, from Energi-innovation, said.

According to the company, the four new power plants will produce around 270 gigawatt-hours of energy per year, the equivalent of annual energy consumption of almost 60,000 homes.
