Since the beginning of the year, Intermarché Lagos has been focusing on sourcing more ecological and sustainable products and ranges.

“The choice on offer for our customers for food products that follow a social and environmental commitment throughout the whole process until they reach our shelves is growing. We know that people are conscious about food and that they increasingly want “clean” food”, said a spokesman from Intermarché Lagos.

Management at the supermarket are always aware of the latest trends in food and believe in the importance of positive changes in eating habits which in turn can have a positive effect on the planet.

As part of this initiative, Intermarché Lagos has introduced the nut butter mills in the store to allow clients to mill their own nut butters on site. Customers can choose from peanut butter, almond butter and hazelnut and chocolate cream with all the butters having no added sugar, palm oil or other ingredients.
