Most of the arrests were made for drink-driving, the force said.

In a statement on operational activity in the week of 14 to 20 September, the GNR said that of the 352 people arrested, 150 people were so for being under the influence of alcohol; 56 were driving without a license, 42 for drug trafficking, 13 were in possession of an illegal weapon, and arrests were also made for a range of other offences including domestic violence and a murder.
