"We are almost at the end of the first week of easing restrictions and, in general, I think that what is perceived by all of us and the information that results from the reports that we are producing is encouraging", said the official, speaking at the usual conference press release on the evolution of the pandemic in the country, in Lisbon.

Marta Temido made this consideration taking into account "the evolution of the information available", at a time when the Government is closely monitoring compliance with the measures in force, namely through "epidemiology and biostatistics units".

“We must remain attentive, but we must also combine attention, the preservation of the measures we have learned, with confidence in our need to return to the normality possible in our lives, with rules that are different from those that we would all want, but necessary to resume the our work, school and economic activity ”, pointed out Marta Temido.
