Hot and sunny bank holiday weekend

It will be largely hot and sunny over the bank holiday weekend in Portugal with the best of the weather predicted in the south of the country.

Lisbon: It will be a dry bank holiday weekend in the capital with temperatures peaking at 26 degrees on Sunday and no chance of rain. From Monday the rain clouds are to gather again with rain predicted until Wednesday. The lack of sunshine will see temperatures drop to daily highs of 22 degrees.
The south: It will be a hot and sunny weekend in the south of the country with daily highs reaching 26 degrees on both days. On Monday clouds are to return which will push the temperature down to highs of 24 and lows of 14 degrees. There is a slight chance of rain on Monday and Tuesday but this will pass by Wednesday.
The north: Light rain is expected on Saturday although this is to clear by Sunday when temperatures are to rise to highs of 24 degrees. On Monday the rain is set to return and to continue for the remainder of the week. The grey weather will see temperatures drop to daily highs of 19 degrees and lows of 13 degrees.
