“At IKEA we believe we all have the right to improve our life at home. That is why we work continuously to ensure that more people have access to functional, sustainable, good quality and beautiful design solutions. And we believe this is more relevant than ever in Algarve” said Arack Ayadi, Store Manager of IKEA Loulé.

In total IKEA will be lowering the price of 185 products for all home areas throughout the year, 130 of which are already available at IKEA stores and online.

As part of the multichannel strategy for the Portuguese market, the brand has announced that they intend to expand and improve the convenience of its services. There are plans to create 14 new collection points throughout the country, operated by external partners where customers can pick up their online purchases, for €25. The collection points which will open by the end of September are: Vila Real, Castelo Branco and Palmela, complementing Viana do Castelo and Leiria, already operating.

Especially focused on the many people living far from the five IKEA stores in the country, IKEA will also reduce the delivery service prices by 33 percent, mainly by redefining the delivery areas.

As part of the campaign to highlight the new discounts and services in Portugal, more than 2 million copies of the IKEA Catalogue 2020 are being distributed throughout the country and IKEA Family members have the possibility to personalise their cover, by taking a picture at any IKEA store from Friday to Sunday, until the 29 September.
