Inflation confirmed at 0.3%, up from zero

Portugal’s annual rate of consumer price inflation was 0.3% in November, up from zero in October, the National Statistics Institute (INE) said, confirming preliminary figures released on 29 November.

"With rounding to a decimal place, this rate coincides with the value of the flash estimate released on November 29," the INE said in a statement.

Underlying inflation (excluding unprocessed food products and energy) was 0.6%, against a rate of 0.3% in October.

The consumer price index was in November down -0.1% on the month, where it had been unchanged in October
