A wonderful idea!! BUT!!! PLEASE..Senhor President da Camara Municipal de Lagos...pay a little attention to this super project. That specific location has a very dear memory to some Lacobrigensi...but in recent years has turned into almost the ugliest and neglected area in Lagos. Also lately a dusty hot and unpleasant much needed parking space. I remember drive~inns in the South Africa of my childhood! What fun it used to be! To buy your ticket..park..hook the speakers onto the side of your window..jump out to the cafeteria for hamburgers and Coca Cola and sweets..then have a quick xixi and a handwash in a huge well lit clean restroom..and then settle down for watching your movie. Sometimes we would put a blanket in front of the car and sit there in the warm summer evenings enjoying our food! Sometimes after the show..on special occasions..the management would play music over the speakers and lots of youngsters would stay behind and dance. The thing there was the FACILITIES! Clean restrooms..a cafeteria cheap enough for young people to afford nice food and a tarmacced surface with no dust and rubbish! That is how it has to be here in our beautiful Lagos of which the residents yearn to be proud of! Make it a worthwhile project that can stay and be supported and enjoyed for ever! Create a decent infrastructure to add magic to the whole experience!! We are looking forward to this. I sincerely hope it will not be a disappointment.
