In a parliamentary committee on Constitutional Affairs, Rights, Freedoms and Guarantees, Home Affairs Minister Eduardo Cabrita said that the control of land borders will be extended "beyond May 14".
Portugal’s border with Spain has been closed since 11pm on March 16 with the exception of nine authorised crossing points, due to the covid-19 pandemic.
