Madeleine McCann: German police leave garden after days digging in investigation

German police investigating the disappearance of Madeleine McCann have now left a garden plot in the northern city of Hannover, believed to be connected to the case. They had been excavating the garden since Monday, and confirmed on Tuesday that the search was related to Madeleine’s 2007 disappearance in Portugal. Police left the allotment without revealing the outcome of their investigation. The site is believed to be linked to a convicted paedophile who is a suspect and was in Portugal when she vanished.
