A man was arrested on Saturday in the municipality of Loures for driving without a driving license, a crime for which he has already been detained 10 times, and is now serving an effective sentence, the police said today.

In a statement, the PSP said that the 46-year-old man was detained on Saturday at the union of parishes in Camarate, Unhos and Apelação, in the district of Lisbon.

The man was detained following a road enforcement action, during which it was confirmed that he was driving a car again without being legally qualified to do so.

The detainee was taken to the Lisbon Prison to serve his sentence.
