Monteiro, who is currently ninth after the opening day in Morocco, said he believes that the Hungaroring circuit is suitable for his Honda Civic.

“It is a technical tracing with fast and long turns that fit well with our car,” he said.

With 20 points in three races of Marrakech, Monteiro said he wants to obtain points in Hungary.

“We are still at the beginning of the championship, but we cannot overlook points. In the end, the difference is in the details. Fighting for the title is the goal for this season,” he added.

The second round of WTCR is to take place in Budapest, Hungary, with three races: on Saturday at 2pm and on Sunday at 2.30pm and 4pm.
