A study into home-working in Portugal by consultants JLL has concluded that over 90 percent of workers would like to continue to work remotely from home, at least one day per week.

Close to 90 percent of participants in the Remote Work in Portugal study considered their companies had adapted well to their employees working from home.

While the main advantages given were not wasting time on home-work commutes, fewer workplace interruptions and a flexible agenda; home temptations and difficulty concentrating due to family structure were highlighted among the downsides.

Comments:

Yes, tthere are many advantages by working at home but also a lot of drawbacks. A big one is the potencial abuse by some employers and companies of their employees as no control of work time is in place anymore! The "big brothers" are now free to demand whatever from their subordinates with much diminished emplooyee capability to say no!
