From next Monday, April 20, the new traffic signs on Portuguese roads will take effect.
The signs will show drivers the entry into residential areas, for example, where the maximum speed should not exceed 30 km/h.
The measure is in accordance with the Highway Code and the National Strategic Road Safety Plan, according to information released yesterday by ANSR - National Road Safety Authority.
