New venue for Loulé’s traditional craft fair

Loulé will be hosting the traditional Feira da Serra between 1 and 8 December along the city’s main avenue, Avenida José da Costa Mealha, instead of the NERA pavilion where it had been hosted in the past.

Around 80 exhibitors representing arts and crafts and regional produce will be present, selling items such as basketry, herbs, jams, meats, pottery and much more. Visitors will also be able to watch artisans making some of the products at the fair.
Aside from promoting the countryside with this event, Loulé Town Hall aims to “raise awareness among visitors about the parishes located in the Serra do Caldeirão, through their

arts and crafts, gastronomic specialities and Christmas
traditions.”
The fair, which is part of the town hall’s Christmas events programme, will be open from 10am until 6pm. Admission is free.
