The boost was introduced yesterday to respond to the increased flow of passengers at airports in Lisbon, Porto, Faro, Funchal and Ponta Delgada.
In a statement to Lusa News Agency, SEF said that the reinforcement of inspectors is a result of the so-called ‘IATA Summer’ season, to minimise the impact of the time change system in flight schedules.
