According to the Portal da Queixa (Complaint Portal) website, the national mail service CTT, has registered 2,700 complaints in the first half of 2019.

According to the consumer website, parcels ordered from overseas and delivered through the Chinese Yanwen Logistics are a growing source of grievance, with products going missing, undelivered, stolen or tampered with.

Consumers are filling their complaints with CTT because they were able to track their orders all the way to Portugal, where they stop being Yanwen’s responsibility.

The problem with CTT appears to be larger than Yanwen though, since the postal service’s performance over the last twelve months more than doubles the aforementioned figure, reaching almost five thousand
