Prime Minister António Costa has called for “urgent political consensus” on the matter of a new international airport for Lisbon.

He also said there is still margin for national tourism to grow should efforts be made to reinforce the diversification currently on offer.

Speaking at a ceremony earlier this week held to mark the re-election of the president of the Portugal Tourism Confederation, Prime Minister Costa said it is important to focus on the future to recover lost time.
