Police shut down illegal party with more than 200 guests

GNR police have shut down an illegal gathering of more than 200 people at a venue in Almancil.

In a statement, police said organisers had tried to receive the necessary licensing but this was denied.

The event saw more than 200 people gather at the venue, with the location only being revealed 12 hours before it was due to start on social media


Take those same folk's and put them to work scrubbing graffiti off train's and buildings, let them use there artist talents, by making creative masks while they do something productive...Obrigado!

These people should be kept under mandatory quarantine for 14 days. Algarve is trying to clear the infection, tourism is hit, people lost their incomes and these people are after partying and creating a new peak like the previous party in Lagos. Respect to the efforts of the people and the government.
