Portugal is one of the European countries where international tourism is expected to drop the most this year due to the Coronavirus pandemic

According to a study by Oxford Economics, a 40% drop in the number of visitors is forecast for Portugal, only surpassed by Spain and Italy.

According to the study by this British consultant on the impacts of covid-19 on European tourism, Portugal should see seven million fewer international visitors this year, compared to 2019.
