At about 12:25, the PT SGPS shares were leading the losses on Portugal’s PSI20 benchmark index by falling 9.69% to €0.578.

The PT SGPS shareholder meeting to vote on the proposal to sell PT Portugal to French operator Altice, which was suspended in 12 January, was rescheduled for 22 January.

The suspension let the PT SGPS board disclose information that the Portuguese Stock Market Regulator (CMVM) considered relevant for the shareholders, including legal opinions about the merger between the Portuguese company and Brazilian Oi.
