Searches for a child who has been missing since Thursday in the municipality of Peniche continued during the night with a reduced number of staff, with teams with dogs already on the ground, said a source from GNR.

The 9-year-old child has been missing since Thursday morning and currently there are no signs of her in the area.

Source of the Leiria Territorial Command of GNR told Lusa that the searches were carried out during the night with a “reduced number of employees due to the absence of sunlight”, but that today “searches will continue with dogs”.

"So far there is no information on the child's whereabouts," said the same source.

According to the page of the National Authority for Emergency and Civil Protection, 92 operational vehicles are currently involved in searches, with 27 vehicles.

The Judicial Police (PJ), which is investigating the case, has already said that in 2018 the child had disappeared from another house where the family resided in the municipality, and was later found by police forces.

She was found. She got killed by her dad and stepmother. Rip PRINCESS.
