Six in ten have ‘some friction’ with family during lockdown

Six out of 10 people who live with others have experienced “some friction” mainly due to sharing domestic chores or being confined to the same space all day during lockdown.

A study by Consumer watchdog Deco found differences of opinion about Covid-19 prevention measures to be adopted are among incendiary fuses, and, in households with children, “school attendance is also a focus of conflict”.

But 45% of Portuguese said restrictions on mobility have had a positive impact on the family relationship.
