Throughout this month and as some of the restrictions imposed on airlines were lifted, TAP added flights, namely to London and Paris, between Porto and Lisbon, two flights a week to S. Paulo and a weekly flight to Rio de Janeiro, with the result that TAP's operation at the end of May will be 18 flights per week.

In June, according to the same plan, the airline plans to return to operating more intercontinental flights, including two a week to New York (Newark), one to Luanda, on the 15th, and another to Maputo. In Portugal, connections between Lisbon and Madeira will become daily, and at the end of June TAP will have 27 weekly flights.

In July, the carrier expects to significantly increase its flights, albeit at levels far from the 3,000 a week it recorded before the pandemic.

Thus, in that month the airline's plan points to 247 flights per week, with a reinforcement of the European and intercontinental networks, a value of close to 19% of its normal operation.

Routes to North America will also be strengthened, where operations will resume to Boston and Miami, as well as to Toronto, with connections to Praia, São Vicente and Dakar going to Africa.

Direct connections from Porto to Paris, Luxembourg and Madeira will also be restored, in the latter case the Autonomous Region will thus have two connections a day to Lisbon and two flights a week to Porto, with connections to Porto being resumed.

For the Azores, TAP will have daily flights between Ponta Delgada and Lisbon and there will be an increase to three weekly flights departing from Terceira. In turn, Faro will have the replacement of two flights a day to Lisbon, TAP said.

The airline already has the information available on its website, advising that these routes may be changed if circumstances so require.
