Tax breaks for returning emigrants

From next year, Portuguese emigrants who return to Portugal will pay just half of IRS tax, to help them resettle.

This is according to a preliminary version of the State Budget for 2019, see by Lusa News Agency.

The measure aims to attract emigrants back to Portugal.

To be eligible they must return in 2019 or 2020 and stay at least three to five years.
