Tesla Model 3 was second best-selling car in Portugal

The passenger car market in Portugal has been significantly affected by COVID-19 in March, as the overall sales went down by 57% year-over-year.

However, the plug-in segment rose 25 percent, as electric cars accounted for almost one in six new car sales.

The Tesla Model 3 saw 514 cars leave showroom floors, making it the second most popular of all cars in Portugal, coming in only slightly behind the Mercedes-Benz A-Class, which sold 553 new cars.

Silly comment Tony. You're looking at up front cost not total cost. Over 3-5 years the Tesla is more economical to own and operate. Many studies show this. That's before you consider the environment.
