Twenty-nine measles cases reported in the Lisbon region

Twenty-nine cases of measles have been confirmed from 8 Nov until yesterday afternoon in the Lisbon and Tagus Valley region.

According to the Portuguese Directorate General for Health (DGS), among the confirmed cases, 24 are adults and five are children.

The DGS noted two separate outbreaks: one in Cascais, which started with a case imported from Ukraine, and one in Oeiras, triggered by a case imported from the Czech Republic.
