The almost 12,000 that failed to secure a place in higher education, can now run for the 2nd phase of the contest from today, September 28th. For the 2nd phase the institutions have at least 6,050 places for students.

In the total, DGES figures point to about 73,000 students in undergraduate, integrated masters’ courses and more than 9,500 in short courses of higher education, that is, higher professional technical courses. To this estimate, DGES takes into account students who are able to enter through special access regimes and special competitions.
