Via do Infante (A22) reopens after accident

The Via do Infante (A22) was reopened today after being cut east-west (Faro-Lagos) at kilometre 72 due to a collision on Sunday , between two heavy goods vehicles.

According to the Faro District Relief Operation Command (CDOS), normal traffic circulation was restored at 2.44am.

The accident between two heavy goods vehicles, was reported at 3.10pm yesterday and no injuries were recorded.
