Clinicalvor was established by Dr. Paloma Rios, who graduated in Dentistry at UNIVALE, Vale do Rio University in Minas Gerais, Brazil and later went on to gain the equivalent qualification at the Faculty of Dental Medicine at Coimbra University.

In 2003, the first Clinicalvor clinic opened in Alvor offering an area with a small waiting room that could accommodate five patients. After working for several years, gaining new qualifications and training and hiring more specialist and technical staff, the team were able to move to larger premises in 2010 which now operate from Rua Padre Mendes in Alvor.

The clinic in Alvor covers 180m2 and is home to a large and modern waiting room, two dental offices, two medical offices offering various medical specialities and clinical analysis and a radiology room complete with advanced dental equipment.

As the clinic continued to grow, and to meet the demands of patients in the Portimão area, a new second clinic opened in Portimão on Avendia do Brasil in the city, covering 70m2, including a modern waiting room and two dental offices.

The team at Clinicalvor prides itself on offering specialised technical solutions geared towards always following the wishes of each client and focusing on agreements between the patient and the team. Clinicalvor values clear comm-unication and high quality treatments with the aim of providing excellent results for every patient.

While all types of dentistry are available at Clinicalvor, Dr. Paloma Rios specialises in implantology, working with patients to bring back a beautiful smile and removing difficulties with chewing. She is also a pioneer of the new 6 on 5 technique to help create an ageless smile.
