According to a statement sent to Lusa News Agency, the inspection involved verifying compliance with legal licensing, hygiene, and food safety requirements applicable to food and beverage establishments.

The operation resulted in the inspection of seven economic operators, and five administrative offense proceedings were instituted. The main violations were violations of the operator's duties and failure to comply with general and specific hygiene requirements.

The inspection also led to the immediate suspension of the activities of four economic operators and the seizure of eight kilos of meat and 22 litres of sauces, due to the non-compliance with the general and specific hygiene requirements detected.
