According to a study of 18 European countries, most are against immigration, with Portugal close to the top.
However, Portuguese have become less opposed to immigrants over the past decade. Sweden, Norway and Germany were most welcoming to immigrants.
In Portugal, 56 percent of the population were meanwhile in favour of accepting refugees, while Belgium, the Netherlands and Hungary were those who most strongly opposed opening their borders to people in exile.

It is most worrying when Islamic fanatics try to invade a country in this way to spread islam - Islam does not want our way of life!

I am open to them and welcome them but it is not a good idea due to this World's terrorists anywhere. Some of them might be secretly terrorists and acts like a refugees.
It is so dangerous to welcome them easily. Everyone deserve to live anywhere but this time there is no one to trust and no one to know who is evil and who is good. To me, it is not good idea to welcome refugees right now until the issues need to be resolve with terrorists problem first.
I doubt the terrorists will go away. It will be here to stay and will always have a problems. They always find a way to destroy citizens. Portugal needs to think twice about welcome refugees that might be secretly terrorists somewhere in them. Beware!

No one in Portugal wants immigrants, specially Muslims, that would never adapt to our ways of life. These muslim refugees are coming through via the left wing movements and imposed on us. We have plenty of unemployment in this country and plenty of people living under the bridge. It's an insult when these minorities and these people are given housing, food and salary and they still complain
