Portugal registró el domingo su menor número de infecciones diarias por covid en cuatro meses. La tasa de mortalidad también ha alcanzado su cifra más baja del año, con 65 víctimas mortales, la más baja desde el 27 de diciembre. En total, algo menos de 800.000 personas han dado positivo en las pruebas de covid en Portugal desde el estallido de la pandemia. Las cifras anteriores ya habían hecho que Portugal pasara de tener la peor tasa de infección por covid del mundo a ser ahora la octava de Europa.
