‘Rafa’ is a strong, young German Shepherd who needs space, a lot of time, and space. In time he will grow into a really super adult. He is quick, bright and intelligent. ‘Sebby’ his older friend found a home recently and he is as happy as can be with his new owner, who says he has made a lot of difference to her life, as a widow and on her own, suddenly she has a companion. ‘Dusty’ is a dustbin girl, now a beautiful sleek, black, healthy Podengo she has a lovely nature playful, older, but still up for a cuddle and a playful session. Food of course.

‘Lilly’ is a beige counter-part. She is looking for “the one” with no other dogs and probably an older person who is lucky enough to be in a position to give a friendly friend a home. Loyalty is part of Lilly’s persona. If there is any inkling that you may be looking for a pal, someone to share your space with, why not pop-up to Pet Park and check them out, take a treat, spend some time with them.

APAA’S, moto is ‘Here to Help’ also relying on the public, community at large, to do their bit and help. Maybe your know someone, or even your little space in the house could do with a friendly bed and some toys, a blanket or two. That’s all, oh and don’t forget the bowl!

Not all doom and gloom. APAA’s growing ‘Pop-Up’ feature have finally drawn to a close for 2022. The following year holds lots of new promise and thriving venues, in the meantime you can pop along to their charity shops at Alvor and Silves. Linger, tinker and choose at leisure a gift, books, or something for the home. A personal shopping space, friendly helpers on hand to advise, suggest. Not only stuff for the ladies but loads for the man-cave!
