The British Association of travel agencies, in statements
given to the Spanish tourism newspaper, Hosteltur, states that “about a third of
UK tourists travelling abroad plan to take an all-inclusive package in 2023”, specifying
that reservations in the country are increasing to 40% among those under 44 and
57% among young families.
“Despite higher living costs putting pressure on people's
finances, many Brits still want to go on holiday, and all-inclusive plans are
proving to be the preferred option to help people control their travel and holiday
spending this year”, points out ABTA, quoted by the same newspaper, which adds
that, among all the possible destinations, many of them are in the
Mediterranean.
The same is happening with the Germans. DRV confirmed to
Hosteltur, although without risking numbers or proportions, “there are already
numerous reservations for next summer”, and “due to the current situation of
high energy costs and inflation, it can be assumed that the price will play an
even greater role in choosing a holiday destination this year”.
