On May 1st, Netflix in the UK and Ireland will release the first season of the widely acclaimed series.

KIN chronicles the life of the Kinsellas, a made-up Dublin family caught up in a global cartel-led gang war. The Kinsellas are trapped in their Dublin stronghold, outnumbered, outgunned, and out-financed as their enterprises falter and family members and associates are executed.

The critically praised series' first season debuted on RTÉ in 2021, and its second season debuted in 2023. The ensemble cast of the show includes Charlie Cox, Emmett J. Scanlan, Ciarán Hinds, and Clare Dunne.

Since then, both KIN seasons have been broadcast on BBC One during prime time.

KIN, written and conceived by Peter McKenna and co-authored by Ciarán Donnelly, is supported by Fís Éireann/Screen Ireland and produced by BRON Studios and Headline Pictures in collaboration with RTÉ.

The immensely popular show's third run was halted following BRON Studios' bankruptcy.

Emmett J. Scanlan, star of KIN, stated to RTÉ Entertainment in December of last year that there had been "positive rumblings" for a third season.
