The win puts the Reds two points ahead of Lisbon rivals Sporting who beat União de Madeira 2-0 on Saturday.
FC Porto overturned a one-goal deficit to win at Académica and will now host Sporting next Saturday for the final Clássico of the season, while Benfica will be at home to Vitoria de Guimarães next Friday.
