The race – which as many people walk as actually run – starts this Sunday in Portimão. Meeting is from 9am at the old riverside ‘Lota’ building, with the start of the event scheduled for 10am.
Two different marathon circuits have been mapped out, a 10km route and a 21km route.
All monies raised via the event go towards the AOA’s flagship project, a respite home for long-distance patients undergoing treatment in Faro, Casa Flor das Dunas.
