New JYSK opens in Portimão

Danish furniture and home decoration business JYSK, has opened a new store in Portimão, taking the total number of JYSK stores in the Algarve region up to three.

The latest store opened on 13 April at the Portimão Retail Centre and features a large selection of products from the brand in the 750 square metre shop.

JYSK is an international retail chain that sells ‘everything for the home’, and is owned by the original founder, Lars Larsen, who opened his first shop in 1979 in Denmark. In 1989 the company expanded to Germany and it entered the Portuguese market in 2016.

JYSK customers at the Portimão store can find a wide range of textiles and decorations in the classic Scandinavian style, with items for all areas of the home changing seasonally and to reflect the latest trends, while employees at the store are also able to offer clients specialised advice on products.

Loja bem montada com otimos produtos porém péssimo atendimento. Já estive lá 3x e não consegui comprar nada pois os atendentes são muito lerdos com falta de vontade de procurar produto ou falta estoque.!! Não volto
