The carrier told Lusa News Agency it had contacted all Ryanair cabin crew in Portugal to ask them to put the passengers first and ignore the Easter strike call. The Portuguese cabin crew union (SNPVAC) said on Tuesday that the crews would strike Thursday, Sunday and Monday because the talks with the airline, namely regarding constitutional and labour code rights such as paternity leave, had got nowhere.
