Chairman Luís Parreirão said yesterday that the company had liabilities amounting to €162 million at the end of last year, a massive €122 million of which was in short-term bank loans.
On the other hand, the chairman told the regional parliament, regional and national coffers owe SATA some €63 million for its public service passenger transport.
Parreirão said this year could be make or break for the struggling airline.
