The 6th edition of Operafest in Lisbon and Oeiras, led by soprano Catarina Molder and produced by Ópera do Catelo, revolves around love - this overwhelming force that moves human existence, addressing several cases of forbidden love, haunted by illness and death, social class, duty and betrayal. 

This festival also offers Alexander technique workshops "The liberation of sound", conferences to discover the repertoire of this edition with Paulo Ferreira de Castro and Rui Vieira Nery, and Cine-ópera at the Cinemateca Portuguesa, evoking the multiple contagions between opera and cinema, celebrating the 200th anniversary of the birth of Camilo Castelo Branco.
