The districts of Coimbra, Leiria, Santarém, Lisbon, Portalegre, Setúbal, Évora, Beja and Faro will be under a yellow warning between 12:00 and 21:00 on 14 April.

The IPMA also issued a yellow warning to Faro due to the forecast of maritime unrest with waves measuring 2 metres between 12:00 pm today and 12:00 am on Thursday.

The Institute foresees today in the northern region, periods of very cloudy skies, the possibility of periods of rain or showers and a rise in maximum temperatures.

For the central and southern regions, the forecast points to very cloudy skies, periods of rain or showers, more frequent from the afternoon, sometimes being strong and accompanied by thunderstorms.

The minimum temperatures will vary between 07 degrees Celsius (in Bragança and Guarda) and 15 (in Faro and Lisbon) and the maximum between 15 (in Guarda) and 25 (in Leiria).
