Twenty-seven mainland municipalities at very high risk of fire

Twenty-seven mainland municipalities are today at very high risk of fire.

These are in the districts of Faro, Portalegre, Santarém, Castelo Branco, Viseu, Bragança and Vila Real.

According to the Portuguese Met Office more than 60 counties are at high risk.

This indicator will remain very high at least until the beginning of next week.

Calculations are based on air temperature, relative humidity, wind speed and rainfall in the last 24 hours.
