The investment raised through golden visas more than doubled in September, compared to the same month of 2021, to €67.4 million, according to accounts made by Lusa based on data from the SEF.

In September, the investment raised with the “golden visa”, the Residence Permit for Investment (ARI) program, more than doubled compared to the €30.4 million raised in the same month of 2021.

Compared to August (€37.5 million), investment grew by almost 80 percent.

During the first nine months of the year, the investment raised amounted to €465 million, 43 percent more than the more than €325 million registered in the same period of 2021.

Last month, 120 visas were granted, of which 100 were based on the criteria for acquiring real estate (44 for urban rehabilitation) and 20 for capital transfers.
